Membership Drive

Date/Time
Date(s) - 06/08/2018 - 06/09/2018
5:00 am - 9:00 pm

It’s our annual membership drive extravaganza! Tune in to hear special interviews all day long on Friday and Saturday, June 8-9 with representatives from different community groups, underwriters, live on-air broadcast from local musicians, drawings for free stuff and your basic broadcasting fun. What’s more, you are invited to visit our studio at 323 N. First Avenue to check us out and get in on the fun … want to do a shout out to your friends, live on the air? You can!

Just come on by! Or just tune in! We’re putting the “community” into KRFY Community Radio… and (ahem) it’s the perfect time to support KRFY by renewing your membership or becoming a member!

Our series of Little Live Radio Hour live concerts that we broadcast the third Tuesday of each month kicks off in 2026 on Tuesday, February 17. Be sure to save 7 p.m. to tune in to 88.5 FM for the live broadcast – or even better, come to listen in person. We’ll have details on the musicians and venue coming soon!

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
