For KRFY’s Local Decision ’26, running up to the November 3 election, each Wednesday beginning September 30 we’ll be airing interviews with candidates for the contested Bonner County Commissioner District 3; and District 1 legislative offices of House Seat A and B, and Senate.
There are also three local ballot measures to be covered during the Local Decision series. The City of Sandpoint is proposing a 1% local option tax on all sales in the city. The City of Dover will have a proposal for a 12% short-term lodging tax. The Westside Fire District is proposing a two-year property tax levy increase of $23 per $100,000 assessed value.
