Mid-May Morning Shows Have Something for Every Community Member

May 17, please tune into 88.5 FM, for the Tuesday edition of the KRFY Morning Show with hosts Julie Kallemeyn and Phil Hough. Their guests will be Eric Grace and Regan Plumb from Kaniksu Land Trust. The KRFY Morning Show at 88.5 FM, listener supported community radio for north Idaho.

May 18, please tune into the Wednesday edition of the KRFY Morning Show for a 2016 PRIMARY ELECTION RECAP with hosts Chris Bessler and Suzy Prez. Their guests will be Jim McKiernan from the Bonner County Daily Bee, along with  Cameron Rasmusson from the Sandpoint Reader. Thursday, May 19, please join 88.5 FM KRFY Morning Show host Jack Peterson. His guests will be Bill Collier, Veteran Service Coordinator. Then, our second guest, Patricia White, from the Panida Theater discussing the plans for upcoming, bi-monthly Play House Dinner Theater group. Save the date for KRFY's Little Live Radio Hour in 2026

Our series of Little Live Radio Hour live concerts that we broadcast the third Tuesday of each month kicks off in 2026 on Tuesday, February 17. Be sure to save 7 p.m. to tune in to 88.5 FM for the live broadcast – or even better, come to listen in person. We’ll have details on the musicians and venue coming soon!

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
