Camile McKitrick, seed librarian at the East Bonner County Library in Sandpoint, talked about the Seed Library, a growing phenomenon across the country for the past couple of years. The library will host a range of seeds for natural, local plants that patrons can “check out” at the beginning of each year to plant and grow in their personal gardens. At the end of the growing season, the patrons will gather a few seeds from their plants and return them to the library to continue the cycle..

Legislative town hall Sandpoint Idaho

Sen. Jim Woodward and Rep. Mark Sauter are holding a town hall "Fireplace Forum" to tell about the recently concluded 2025 Idaho legislative session. It's 6-8 p.m. at Sandpoint Community Hall, on Sat, May 3. Join them in person, or listen live on 88.5 KRFY, also streaming right here on KRFY.org.
