Interview with Rob Wakeley of Kinderhaven, Sandpoint


This morning at the KRFY studios, Susy Prez had a live, on-air interview with Rob Wakeley of the Kinderhaven Sandpoint organization. They discussed the organization’s history and goals and the programs they provide for marginalized children in our community. Rob announced the schedule for the upcoming “APRIL CAMPAIGN” KICKOFF fund raiser being held this coming weekend, March 23, from 2-4 PM at the Sandpoint Community Hall, 204 south First Avenue..

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
