Join us Tuesday evening, October 23rd at 8 pm on 88.5 KRFY for another edition of “Between the Notes”.

This week’s guest is well known Sandpoint, songwriter/musician Truck Mills. Truck has been critically acclaimed: “Truck is an acoustic blues guitar player extraordinaire” and “one of the most talented performers in our region.” Listen as Truck talks about how he was musically inspired in the 70’s by the transcendent slide guitar playing of Blind Willie Johnson and how his musical style has evolved over the years to an inspired blending of world music with blues and Americana.  Trucks story and original music is bound to inspire.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
