Wednesday, May 17: Join 88.5 KRFY Morning Show hosts, Suzy Prez and Chris Bessler as they review the results of the previous day’s Lake Pend Oreille School District trustee election. Also on tap: An update from two organizers of the upcoming CHAFE 150 bike ride coming June 17, Mel Dick and Elana Westphal. Airtime is 8 a.m. here on 88.5 KRFY community radio for north Idaho.

Thursday, May 18: Tune in to the Thursday edition of the KRFY Morning Show with hosts Jack Peterson and Jim Healey as they interview Jennifer MacDonald from 101 Women, which aims to unite and harness the power of charitable efforts for local organizations. That’s at 8 a.m. on 88.5 KRFY community radio.

Friday, May 19: It’s a bonus Morning Show interview, with hosts Suzy Prez and Julie Kallemeyn in discussion with Gabrielle Duebendorfer representing Citizen’s Climate Lobby, a group that promotes a market-based carbon fee and dividend policy as a tool to lessen impacts of climate change. Gabrielle will talk about the local chapter’s May 20 event, “Stabilize the Climate and Boost the Economy.” That’s at 8 a.m. at 88.5 on your radio dial.

Wednesday, May 10: In the final of three shows covering the upcoming May 16 Lake Pend Oreille School District trustee election features trustee candidates for Zone 2, Richard Miller and Gary Suppiger. With hosts Suzy Prez and Chris Bessler, airing at 8 a.m.

Wednesday, May 10: School Trustee Candidates Forum. KRFY joins SandpointOnline.com and Sandpoint Reader to host a candidates’ forum for the Lake Pend Oreille School District board of trustee races, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Columbia Bank Community Room. Candidates for the seats in all three zones up for election will speak and take questions. Can’t attend? Then be sure to tune in at 88.5 for the live broadcast.
