This week the Morning Show is showcasing the station, its listeners and volunteers in support of our annual Membership Drive this coming weekend, June 10 & 11.

Tuesday, June 7, please tune in at 8 a.m. to the KRFY Morning Show with hosts Julie Kallemeyn and Suzy Prez. Their guests will be former Sandpoint mayor, Carrie Logan, Bob Hawn and Bernie Moser — all newly trained KRFY broadcasters. The KRFY Morning Show at 88.5 FM, listener supported community radio for north Idaho.

Wednesday, June 8 please tune in at 8 a.m. to the KRFY Morning Show with hosts Suzy Prez and Chris Bessler. Their guests will be Sandpoint current Sandpoint mayor, Shelby Rognstad and KRFY board president, Charlie Parrish. The KRFY Morning Show at 88.5 FM, listener supported community radio for north Idaho.

Thursday, June 9 please tune in at 8 a.m. to the KRFY Morning Show with host Jack Peterson and Suzy Prez. Guests will be some of the KRFY listener members. The KRFY Morning Show at 88.5  FM-, listener supported community radio for north Idaho.

Wednesday, June 1, please tune in at 8 a.m. to the KRFY Morning Show with hosts Suzy Prez and Chris Bessler. Their guests will be Shawn Woodward and Steve Youngdahl, from the Lake Pend Oreille School District, in the studio to review the end of the school year and the effects of the plant facility levy. KRFY holiday spectacular live variety show

Celebrate the holidays. KRFY’s live radio show celebrating Christmas and the holidays is coming Friday, Dec 5, 7-9 p.m. at the Panida Theater. This variety show with all-local music, Christmas readings, skits and good humor has grown each year. You can tune in to 88.5 KRFY to hear the live broadcast – but even better, come share the warm holiday spirt and attend at the Panida. A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
