Tuesday, March 29. Please tune in to the KRFY Morning Show at 8 AM on 88.5 FM, for the March edition of GARDEN TALK with hosts Suzy Prez, Emily Levine and Pat Wentworth. Special guest will be Duane Church from the Bonner Country Library’s seed library program. That’s the KRFY Morning Show at 8:00 AM on 88.5 FM — listener supported community radio for north Idaho.

Thursday, March 31.  Please tune in to 88.5 KRFY for the Thursday edition of the KRFY Morning Show with hosts Phil Hough and Julie Kallemeyn. Their guests will be Matt McGrath (Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail Program), Stephanie Campbell (Pacific Northwest Trail Association) and Brad Smith (Idaho Conservation League). They will speak about the Pacific Northwest Trail, from vision to reality.  The Morning Show at 8 AM on 88.5 KRFY, Panhandle Community Radio.

, please tune in to the KRFY Morning Show at 8 AM on 88.5 FM with hosts Suzy Prez and Julie Kallemeyn. Their guest will be local author, Anita Aurite, contributing writer with the just published piece My Very Good, Very Bad Cat in the latests installment of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book. Joining them will be an additional guest, Mandy Evans, from the Panhandle Animal Shelter. The  KRFY Morning Show at 8:00 AM on 88.5 FM, listener supported community radio for north Idaho.

Thursday, March 17, please tune in to KRFY 88.5 FM for the Thursday edition of the KRFY Morning Show with host Jack Peterson. His guests this week will be teacher Jeanette Hunter and students from Sandpoint High School in the studio to talk about the upcoming student play, Alice In Wonderland. CANDIDATE INTERVIEWS

For KRFY’s Local Decision ’26, each Wednesday we have aired interviews with all candidates for contested Bonner County and District 1 legislative offices in the upcoming May 19 primary. Only Republican races are contested. Click to hear the recorded interviews:

Idaho State Senate:

In addition to these contested races, there are three ballot measures, for voters who live within the Northside and Westside fire districts, and the Lakeland School District, as well as 20 contested races for Republican precinct committeemen. A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
