Thinking Outside of the Box with Ken Casler and Sarah Rusnak

This is what’s happening Wednesday evening at 6:30 on 88.5 KRFY

We discuss different styles of Yoga and focus on Forrest Yoga, created by Ana Forrest. Sarah shares with us her take on what has become an epidemic in our modern society:  neck and shoulder tension. One reason this affects so many of us is because we spend so much time sitting in this day and age.  Sarah gives us some common sense explanations as to why our daily habits are causing  neck and shoulder pain. Then she offers some solutions to help you relax your neck. One of the many benefits of releasing tension in your body is more energy, and vitality.

Sarah also talks about her teacher Ana Forrest and the unique yoga practice that she advocates. Sarah offers yoga consultations and classes in Sandpoint Idaho and the surrounding region. Several times a year she offers educational courses focusing on  Forrest Yoga, balanced lifestyle and nutrition.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
