March Roars in With Community-Informative Interviews on KRFY


KRFY Morning Show’s first week of interviews in the month of March:

Tuesday, March 4th, 8 am: Join Chris Bessler and Suzy Prez on the KRFY Morning Show  with their guests  David Keyes and Carolyn Lobsinger from the Bonner County Daily Bee. Let’s talk media and communication in our community.

In the studio Thursday morning discussing the role and features of our local historical society were (l. to r.): Bob Deubel, Morning Show hosts Jack Peterson and Jim Healey, Will Valentine.

Thursday, March 6th, 8 am: Jim Healey and Jack Peterson will have Will Valentine and Bob Deubel, a volunteer from the Bonner County Historical Society and Museum, on this week’s Thursday edition of the KRFY Morning Show discussing the goal of this valuable community resource.

Friday, March 7th, 8am: Join Jim Healey for a bonus KRFY interview. He will be sitting down to talk with a representative from Trout Unlimited and the important work this organization is doing in our community..

Save the date for KRFY's Little Live Radio Hour in 2026

Our series of Little Live Radio Hour live concerts that we broadcast the third Tuesday of each month kicks off in 2026 on Tuesday, February 17. Be sure to save 7 p.m. to tune in to 88.5 FM for the live broadcast – or even better, come to listen in person. We’ll have details on the musicians and venue coming soon!

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
