Interview at KRFY: POAC Performances Resume with Acclaimed Duo This Thursday Evening at the Panida Theatre

Wednesday, October, 9th at 9:00 am, host Suzy Prez was  joined in the KRFY studios by musical duo, Blaze and Kelly. Former Sandpoint residents Nicole Blaze and Mo Kelly will talk about their musical journey and their upcoming POAC show at the Panida, Thursday evening. Tune in and listen as we hear some of their music and their stories from the road..

Candidate forums coming up. Two candidates forums are coming at the Sandpoint High auditorium. On Monday, May 4, candidates for District 1 Idaho Legislature will take the stage; on Tuesday, May 5, candidates for Bonner County offices. Forums will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Presented by KRFY with co-sponsors Sandpoint Reader, Daily Bee, Sandpoint Online and the Selkirk Association of Realtors. Attend in person, or tune each night for the live KRFY broadcasts at 88.5 FM or right here, streaming at KRFY.org.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
