On the Tuesday, March 17, KRFY Morning Show, hosts Chris Bessler and Suzy Prez had two guests talking about uniquely Sandpoint topics. First up, they spoke with local photographer Kirk Miller – who, amazingly, has taken a sunrise photo around Sandpoint every single day for four and a half years. Also on the show, at the bottom of the hour were organizers of this year’s CHAFE 150 bike ride, Mel Dick and Elana Westphal, speaking about that upcoming June event.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
