KRFY broadcaster Suzy Prez conducted a bonus interview on October 21 with guests Lissa DeFreitas and Gina Moss from Bonner Community Hospice. That’s Tuesday at 9 AM on 88.5 KRFY.

Coming Wednesday, October 22, tune into KRFY at 8:00 AM for a bonus Wednesday interview with cast members and directors from the upcoming production of Frankenstein. That’s on KRFY 88.5.
 
Thursday, October 23rd, join Jack Peterson and Jim Healey for the Thursday edition of the KRFY Morning Show. Their guest will be Kathy Chambers from the Community Cancer Services organization. That’s on Thursday at 8 am on 88.5 KRFY.

KRFY holiday spectacular live variety show

Celebrate the holidays. KRFY’s live radio show celebrating Christmas and the holidays is coming Friday, Dec 5, 7-9 p.m. at the Panida Theater. This variety show with all-local music, Christmas readings, skits and good humor has grown each year. You can tune in to 88.5 KRFY to hear the live broadcast – but even better, come share the warm holiday spirt and attend at the Panida. A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
