Morning Show Schedule: Project 7B, Week Four – WATER IS LIFE, East Bonner County Library.

Here’s what’s coming up the week of September 10=7 – on the Morning Show on 88.5 KRFY. Airtime is 8 a.m. … but if you miss a show, you can hear a recorded podcast of it later in the day, on our Podcasts page.

Tuesday, September 18: Hosts Julie Kallemeyn and Phil Hough will visit with Susan Drumheller, Carol Curtis and Daniel Shlaferman with Project 7B. Tune in at 8 a.m.

Wednesday, September 19: Featuring Week Four of a  four-part series: WATER IS LIFE, with hosts Suzy Prez and Jean Gerth.  This week will focus on “our responsibility to protect.” Their guests will be Shannon Williamson with Lake Pend Oreille Waterkeeper and Diane Williams with Tri State Water Quality Council.  Airtime is 8 a.m.

Thursday, September 20: Join hosts Jack Peterson and Jim Healey. Their guest will be Marcy Timblin from the East Bonner County Library with updates. Tune in  at 8 a.m.

Tuesday, September 11: Hosts Julie Kallemeyn and Phil Hough will visit with Paul Kusche with the Small Business Development Center. Tune in at 8 a.m.

Wednesday, September 12: Featuring Week Three of a  four-part series: WATER IS LIFE, with hosts Suzy Prez and Jean Gerth.  This week will focus on “water rights” and their guests will be Doug Jones with the Idaho Department of Water Rights and Molly McCahon with the Lake Commission.   Airtime is 8 a.m.

Thursday, September 13: Join hosts Jack Peterson and Jim Healey. Their guest will be Bob Over with the University of Idaho – Non-profit Leadership Program. Tune in  at 8 a.m.

KRFY holiday spectacular live variety show

Celebrate the holidays. KRFY’s live radio show celebrating Christmas and the holidays is coming Friday, Dec 5, 7-9 p.m. at the Panida Theater. This variety show with all-local music, Christmas readings, skits and good humor has grown each year. You can tune in to 88.5 KRFY to hear the live broadcast – but even better, come share the warm holiday spirt and attend at the Panida. A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
