Tuesday, October 9, at 10:00 am Bill Howell and Ann Sydow, members of the Northern Idaho Wolf Alliance, talked about the Constitutional Amendment called HJR-2 that will be voted on this November. Listeners learned about the amendment and the consequences of approval of such a ballot measure.

Tuesday, October 9, at 9:00 am  Anna Boshka, owner of The Readery on First Avenue in Sandpoint, talked about the signing/reading and workshop to be conducted on this coming Friday evening and Saturday by international best-selling author Sherry Jones: Four Sisters, All Queens; White Heart; The Jewel of Medina; and The Sword of Medina. Sherry will discuss her books and how she aims to empower girls and women with her tales of extraordinary women in history..

KRFY Little Live Radio Hour with Little Wolf band

KRFY’s Little Live Radio Hour 2026 season kicks off in an all-new venue: The Hive! Coming up Tuesday, February 17, stellar local musicians Justin Landis and Josh Hedlund, aka Little Wolf, will play. Listen live on air at 88.5 FM or streaming right here starting at 7 p.m. – or better yet come catch it in person at The Hive, our town’s state-of-the-art music hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. and everyone’s invited to come early for some socializing. The Little Live Radio Hour is produced in partnership with The Hive and the Festival at Sandpoint.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
