SARABETH to Be in 88.5 KRFY’s Studio

SARABETH โ€” Sarah (21), Rachel (18) and Bethany (14) Byrum โ€” will be in KRFY’s studio on Friday, March 30, at 3:10 pm. They will be performing “live” and will be sharing their thoughts on their music, being sisters, and being music makers. Born in California, the three sisters were brought to live in north Idaho at young ages by their parents who believed the environment more conducive to raising a family than southern California.

Hello World is the band’s first CD and is available on their website at https://www.sarabeththeband.com. To see a YouTube video of SARABETH’s song “Amandus,” which was shot in downtown Sandpoint, go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dt5o1vgg3D4.

SARABETH will be appearing at Di Luna’s in Sandpoint on Saturday, March 31. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Tickets are available at Di Luna’s (207 Cedar Street)..

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
