Live tonight on 88.5 KRFY: Prop 1 debate

Proposition 1 debate tonight!Still weighing whether you are a yea or nay for Proposition 1, the open primaries and ranked-choice voting proposal that is on the Idaho ballot? Your best chance to get informed by both sides is TONIGHT, Nov. 1, at 6 p.m. when the Regeneration Calvary Chapel hosts a debate and panel discussion on Prop 1.

KRFY will air the debate live at 6 p.m. at 88.5 FM. Listen to the recording HERE.

Speaking in favor of Prop 1 will be Luke Mayville, co-founder of Reclaim Idaho, and local proponent Christie Wood.

Speaking opposed to Prop 1 will be state Sen. Scott Herndon and Michael Angiletta, co-founder of Secure Idaho Elections.

Bonner County’s chief election officer, County Clerk Michael Rosedale will also speak about potential impacts to county election administration.

KRFY holiday spectacular live variety show

Celebrate the holidays. KRFY’s live radio show celebrating Christmas and the holidays is coming Friday, Dec 5, 7-9 p.m. at the Panida Theater. This variety show with all-local music, Christmas readings, skits and good humor has grown each year. You can tune in to 88.5 KRFY to hear the live broadcast – but even better, come share the warm holiday spirt and attend at the Panida. A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
