First up was high school journalism teacher Will Love and student and new radio manager, Connor Bird. Ryan Baumgartner, current host of 3 O'Clock Rush was recognized for his outstanding contribution to the KRFY program offering with his show focused on great music and high school relevant interview. This show sparked the continuation of the high school presence on KRFY by integrating audio podcast into the high school curriculum. A second interview was with Farmin Stidwell - PIE or Partners in Education representative, Sarah Hansen about an upcoming fundraiser for school activities. A third interview was with the Cade Prophet Memorial Production director, Dorothy Prophet and actor Meredith Fields about the upcoming play SYLVIA.

Morning Show hosts Chris and Suzy welcomed two groups today. First interview was with Alli Emch, Stroke Coordinator, and Robin Hanson, Marketing Specialist from Bonner General Health. They talked about signs of stroke, importance of early intervention and prevention. They also talked about the many outpatient programs and the new MRI machine at the hospital. A second interview with Sandra Brower, Board Chair, and Jennifer Anselmo, Business Manager with West Bonner County School District #83. They talked about the upcoming May 21 levy vote and what it means to the students, staff, and administration for District #83.

Morning Show hosts Chris Bessler and Suzy Prez talked with Ben Olson, publisher of the Sandpoint Reader, and Charles Mortensen owner of Syringa Cyclery, about bike and car safety and the "rules of the road" that will help keep everyone safer. A second interview with Ken Larson, student Sophie Dignan, and parent Karen Dignan, from the North Idaho High School Aerospace Program was also presented.

May 7, 2019 Bear awareness with Idaho Fish and Game

Join KRFY Tuesday Morning Show hosts Phil Hough and Julie Kallemeyn for a highly informative and amusing talk with Brian Johnson, Game Warden with Idaho Fish and Game. Brian has been working with Idaho bears for many years and has great advice about how to stay safe in bear country and at home in the Idaho panhandle. He has great stories too so please take the time to listen to this one!

May 2, 2019: Hospice Kids Camp Benefit

Heather McCoy, organizer of the Hospice Kids Camp Concert at the Bonner County Fairgrounds on May 3, joins Jim and Jack to discuss the event and the Kids Camp coming up on June 21. Also an interview with Stone Cloud 4, who will be performing at the event.
