Wednesday, May 15, 2019: Bonner General Health May Stroke Month & West Bonner County School District #83 Levy Vote

Morning Show hosts Chris and Suzy welcomed two groups today. First interview was with Alli Emch, Stroke Coordinator, and Robin Hanson, Marketing Specialist from Bonner General Health. They talked about signs of stroke, importance of early intervention and prevention. They also talked about the many outpatient programs and the new MRI machine at the hospital. A second interview with Sandra Brower, Board Chair, and Jennifer Anselmo, Business Manager with West Bonner County School District #83. They talked about the upcoming May 21 levy vote and what it means to the students, staff, and administration for District #83.

Wednesday, May 8, 2019: Bicycle Safety and High School Aerospace Program

Morning Show hosts Chris Bessler and Suzy Prez talked with Ben Olson, publisher of the Sandpoint Reader, and Charles Mortensen owner of Syringa Cyclery, about bike and car safety and the "rules of the road" that will help keep everyone safer. A second interview with Ken Larson, student Sophie Dignan, and parent Karen Dignan, from the North Idaho High School Aerospace Program was also presented.

Join KRFY Tuesday Morning Show hosts Phil Hough and Julie Kallemeyn for a highly informative and amusing talk with Brian Johnson, Game Warden with Idaho Fish and Game. Brian has been working with Idaho bears for many years and has great advice about how to stay safe in bear country and at home in the Idaho panhandle. He has great stories too so please take the time to listen to this one!
