Community Resource & Envision Center

EnVision Centers are a nationwide initiative launched under the leadership of Dr. Ben Carson during his tenure as Secretary of the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These centers are designed to serve as hubs for community resources, empowering individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency through access to services in four key areas: economic empowerment, educational advancement, health and wellness, and character and leadership development.
The Community Resource EnVision Center proudly became an official EnVision Center in 2019. While we are aligned with the goals and visions of this national initiative, we operate independently and receive no federal funding. Our work is sustained through the support of local grants, community fundraisers and partnerships with organizations and individuals who share our commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and everyone’s invited to come early for some socializing. The Little Live Radio Hour is produced in partnership with The Hive and the Festival at Sandpoint.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
