As of Wednesday, July 17, KRFY resolved the technical issue of a mechanical failure to the point where we are once again broadcasting over the air waves. The problem occurred with an amplifier at the leased transmitter station in Ponderay. We still have some equipment concerns to address, but our community radio is once again being heard in the Bonner County vicinity.
All of the volunteers at KRFY appreciate the patience and concern that our listeners expressed during our brief, 3-day silence. We are determined to keep this vital resource operating, especially when we see this recent expression of loss from our listening public.
