On Tuesday, December 22, the KRFY Morning Show dove into a timely topic: What is the true meaning of Christmas? Speakers from four churches related what their faith tells them about the “reason for the season,” with Pastor Bob Evans of the Emerge-n-See Church; Pastor Colin Moody of Cedar Hills Church; Father Dennis Day of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church; and Valerie Milliron of the Sandpoint Quakers.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
