Unfortunately, in August (no specific date given), Al Jazeera will cease doing its radio program. Al Jazeera has been a gem in KRFY’s program schedule for a number of years. We are very sorry to see this quality broadcast depart as it brought us news of the world never covered in “main-stream” news organizations.
Fortunately, we will be airing another news and public affairs program — Flashpoint Daily Newsmagazine — beginning on Monday, August 5. Flashpoint Daily Newsmagazine will air at 8:00 a.m. weekdays, the same time when Al Jazeera could have been heard previously.
