TUESDAY, JULY 23: Laurie Clauson returns to KRFY for an update on her staggered, multi-year Walk Across America. She’s been walking the country in 10-day chunks over an eight-year timespan, picking up each time where she left off. In 2019, she passed through Sandpoint and paid KRFY a visit (you can click to hear that archived recording) and now she returns with an update as she approaches the end of her journey. WEDNESDAY, JULY 24: Ali Baranski and Paul Gunter of the Festival At Sandpoint are kicking off Sandpoint’s biggest musical event of the year, and come by to preview the festival and talk about what’s new and notable for the nine-concert series that runs through August 4. THURSDAY, JULY 25: Crazy Days is almost here, and KRFY‘s Jim Healey will once again faithfully man his post on first avenue, selling CDs for the benefit of the radio station. Drop by on Saturday at the Sidewalk CD Sale and chat about music with Jim and Velma, Queen of Fun– and hear some of the discs he’ll have on offer in this special Crazy Days preview show.
