Community Radio Live Interviews with Suzy Prez

In-studio guests on Friday, August 16 were:


9:00  AM:  Artist Studio Tour – Suzy Prez interviewed Sally Dennison, representing the Artist Studio Tour, along with some of the local artists who discussed their art and the Artist Studio Tour.

10:00 AM:  Suzy Prez was visited by two high school students who are Kendama experts. The demonstrated the art of Kendama and discussed this skill game that has children around the world captivated and challenged..

Wednesday, August 7th:  9:00 am: Suzy Prez interviewed Waldorf Early Childhood teachers, Jeanette Rinehart and Beth Krause at the KRFY studios. The Early Childhood program and curriculum concept were discussed in detail for the benefit of listeners interested in this proven educational method..

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
