Colorful Event Chalks-up Fun for a Good Cause this Saturday

    Suzy Prez was in the studio on Friday morning at 9:00 to conduct a live interview with Steve Holt, from the Eureka Institute, and Shery Meeking, founder of Creations, to discuss the happening at the Grainery District’s indoor arts and fun happening— the Chalk Drawing Fund Raising event — at the Sandpoint Eureka Institute site. The artwork begins today, and ends with a judging event on Saturday topped by a dance that evening..

Bonner County Agri-Bus On Display with Upcoming Tour

Suzy Prez welcomed Mike Bauer from the University of Idaho Extention Service.  Mike talked about the upcoming 47th annual Bonner County Farm Tour that is coming up on Thursday, June 20. Save the date for KRFY's Little Live Radio Hour in 2026

Our series of Little Live Radio Hour live concerts that we broadcast the third Tuesday of each month kicks off in 2026 on Tuesday, February 17. A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
