Monday, May 6, at 9:00 a.m. Jim Healey’s in-studio guests were Gail Bolin, president of the Kinnikinnick Native Plant Society (KNPS), and Bob Wilson, treasurer of KNPS. They talked about the Sandpoint Arbor Day ceremony and Kinnikinnick Native Plant Society Arboretum open house coming up on Saturday, June 8, 2013. Spring Brings the Annual Opening of the Sandpoint Farmer’s Market this Saturday

On Friday morning, May 3, at 10:00 a.m., Suzy Prez welcomed Emily Levine, organizer of the Sandpoint Farmer’s Market at the downtown Farmin Park. They discussed the official opening day (tomorrow, May 4 at 9:00 a.m.) and the changes that will be coming to the market, including the redirection of vehicular traffic flow off Oak Street to accommodate the pedestrian flow accessing additional booth sites in the vacant lot parking areas to the south of Farmin Park..

Our series of Little Live Radio Hour live concerts that we broadcast the third Tuesday of each month kicks off in 2026 on Tuesday, February 17. A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
