Sandpoint Nordic Club Trails at Tauber Angus Farms Interview

On Thursday morning, Jim Healey had in-studio guests Vicki and Ross Longhini (active members of the Sandpoint Nordic Club), and  Cassie Tauber (founder of the Nordic Center at Tauber Angus Farms) discussing the establishment of a trail system and recreational opportunities available in the Gold Creek area for beginning and flat-lander cross country skiing/skating enthusiasts..

Save the date for KRFY's Little Live Radio Hour in 2026

Our series of Little Live Radio Hour live concerts that we broadcast the third Tuesday of each month kicks off in 2026 on Tuesday, February 17. Be sure to save 7 p.m. to tune in to 88.5 FM for the live broadcast – or even better, come to listen in person. We’ll have details on the musicians and venue coming soon!

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
