Tuesday, April 10:  Join Morning Show hosts Julie Kallemeyn and Phil Hough.  Their guest will be Rich Del Carlo, local arborist and bird expert.  Find out how shrubs and trees help birds in spring?  Tune in at 8 a.m. on 88.5 KRFY.

Wednesday, April 11: Join Morning Show hosts Suzy Prez and Chris Bessler as  LOCAL DECISION PRIMARY 2018 continues. Republican primary candidates for District 1, Seat A have been invited in to speak on the issues facing District 1.  Tune in at 8 a.m. on 88.5 KRFY.

Thursday, April 12:  Tune in to the Thursday edition of the Morning Show with hosts Jack Peterson and Jim Healey.  Their guest will be Sandpoint Men’s Group spokesperson, Eric Ridgeway.  The Morning Show airs at 8 a.m. at 88.5 KRFY.

Tuesday, April 3:  Join Morning Show hosts Julie Kallemeyn and Phil Hough.  Their guests will be Karen Robinson and Bill Love who will talk about the Idaho State Forestry contest.  Tune in at 8 a.m. on 88.5 KRFY.

Wednesday, April 4: Join Morning Show hosts Suzy Prez and Chris Bessler as they kick-off LOCAL DECISION PRIMARY 2018 with a discussion about the pros and cons of the Scotchman Peaks Wilderness designation.  Primary democratic candidates for District 1, Seat A, Ellen Weissman and Bob Vickaryous will also stop by to talk about the issues facing Idaho. Tune in at 8 a.m. on 88.5 KRFY.

Thursday, April 5:  Tune in to the Thursday edition of the Morning Show with hosts Jack Peterson and Jim Healey.  Their guests will be Madeline Elliot and cast members from Unknown Locals who will talk about their upcoming production of Twelfth Night.  The Morning Show airs at 8 a.m. at 88.5 KRFY.

Save the date for KRFY's Little Live Radio Hour in 2026

Our series of Little Live Radio Hour live concerts that we broadcast the third Tuesday of each month kicks off in 2026 on Tuesday, February 17. Be sure to save 7 p.m. to tune in to 88.5 FM for the live broadcast – or even better, come to listen in person. We’ll have details on the musicians and venue coming soon!

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
