“Lost in the 50s” Tickets Donated

On Friday, Tom Renk, real estate broker and owner of C.M. Brewster & Co. in Sandpoint, stopped by the studio and donated two tickets to the Saturday night performance (May 19) of The Tokens and The Reflections during the “Lost in the 50s” weekend. The tickets will be used as a premium for a donation to the station during KRFY’s Open House on Saturday, May 19. More information on the Open House will be forthcoming. A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
