Tuesday, August 30, please tune in at 8 a.m. to the KRFY Morning Show with hosts Julie Kallemeyn and Phil Hough. Their guests will be Michael Spurgin and Susan Drumheller who will talk about the Pend Oreille Bay Trail. The KRFY Morning Show at 88.5 RM, listener-supported community radio for north Idaho.

Wednesday, August 24, please tune in at 8 a.m. to the KRFY Morning Show with hosts Chris Bessler and Suzy Prez. Their guests this week include: Bob Over, coordinator of the Non-profit Leadership Program at the University of Idaho; Melinda Rossman, coordinator of the new homeschooling support program being offered by the Bonner County public school district. KRFY holiday spectacular live variety show

Celebrate the holidays. KRFY’s live radio show celebrating Christmas and the holidays is coming Friday, Dec 5, 7-9 p.m. at the Panida Theater. This variety show with all-local music, Christmas readings, skits and good humor has grown each year. You can tune in to 88.5 KRFY to hear the live broadcast – but even better, come share the warm holiday spirt and attend at the Panida. A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
