Tuesday, April 24:  Join Morning Show host Julie Kallemeyn and her guests Julie Smith from Friends of the Library along with Sandpoint mayor, Shelby Rognstad to showcase National Poetry Month. Tune in at 8 a.m. on 88.5 KRFY.

Wednesday, April 25: Join Morning Show host Suzy Prez  as  LOCAL DECISION PRIMARY 2018 continues. Republican primary candidates for Bonner Country Assessor position have been invited in to speak on the issues:  Donna Gow, Richard Miller and Dennis Engelhardt. Tune in at 8 a.m. on 88.5 KRFY.

Thursday, April 26:  Tune in to the Thursday edition of the Morning Show with hosts Jack Peterson and Jim Healey.  Their guest will be Dyno Wahl, executive director of the Festival at Sandpoint, who will review the 2018 line-up, the upcoming wine festival fundraiser and the new entry options. The Morning Show airs at 8 a.m. at 88.5 KRFY.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
