Morning Show topics range from city haps to wildlife to war (of the worlds)

They will talk about all things Sandpoint – roads, Memorial Field, city elections, budgets, and more – including topics raised in the mayor’s column, “In the Face of Fear,” published last week in local newspapers.

WarOfTheWorldsThursday, September 7: Join Morning Show hosts Jim Healey and Jack Peterson. Their guest will be Robert Moore, director of the upcoming local play, “War of the Worlds.” That’s at 8 a.m. on 88.5 KRFY, Panhandle Community Radio.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
