CANDIDATE INTERVIEWS

KRFY’s Local Decision ’26, has featured interviews with candidates for all contested local races, including Bonner County Commissioner District 1; and Legislative District 1 offices of House Seat A and B, and Senate. Hear interviews on our podcast page.

There are also local ballot measures, and the Local Decision series includes an interview with City of Sandpoint‘s Mayor Jeremy Grimm on the 1% local option tax on all sales in the city.

A variety other ballot measures for both local and state issues will be on the ballot, along with races for state and federal offices. Click to see the sample consolidated general election ballot. A good online voter resource for everything local voters will see on the ballot is Sandpoint Online’s Election Central. A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
