Countdown to Election Day

KRFY-Decision2014ArtWorkWEB-SMGet informed for the Nov. 4 elections. On September 30, the KRFY Morning Show kicked off a special election series, Local Decision 2014. Each Tuesday at 8 a.m., right up to the November 4 Election Day, hosts Suzy Prez and Chris Bessler have interviewed the candidates for the five contested local races for Bonner County and Legislative District 1 offices. Tuesday, Nov. 4: Election Day special
Daily Bee publisher David Keyes will join KRFY’s hosts to help provide an overview of all races as voters head to the polls.

KRFY Little Live Radio Hour with Little Wolf band

KRFY’s Little Live Radio Hour 2026 season kicks off in an all-new venue: The Hive! Coming up Tuesday, February 17, stellar local musicians Justin Landis and Josh Hedlund, aka Little Wolf, will play. Listen live on air at 88.5 FM or streaming right here starting at 7 p.m. – or better yet come catch it in person at The Hive, our town’s state-of-the-art music hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. and everyone’s invited to come early for some socializing. The Little Live Radio Hour is produced in partnership with The Hive and the Festival at Sandpoint.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
