Bonus Concert Tonight at Monarch Mt. Coffee: Patchy Sanders Folk Ochestra

SuzyIntvwPatchySandingBandDani-Ian
A bonus interview, spontaneously provided by Suzy Prez (left in photo), featured the traveling band from Ashland, Oregon — Patchy Sanding — and the lead members, Dani Aubert (center) and Ian Van Ornum (right) who are on the road to spread the joy of their six-member band’s unique music, described as “folk orchestra.”  The free performance is tonight, October 22, at Monarch Mt. Coffee, 4th Avenue in Sandpoint, beginning at 5 PM and running until 7 PM. Come listen to this unique ensemble’s lively bluegrass-inspired original music — with a twist!.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
