Tuesday, July 23, at 9:00 a.m.: Local artist Lucy West will stop by the station and talk about winning “Best of Show” at Spacefest, the largest aerospace conference in the industry. Her winning entry, titled “Tiger Stripes: The Icy Jets of Enceladus,” views Saturn from one of its moons, which is small and encased in ice.

Thursday, June 27, 9:00 a.m.: Shannon Williamson, executive director of Lake Pend Oreille Waterkeeper, and Gary Payton, Idaho Ambassador for 50 States United for Healthy Air, came in to the studio to talk to Jim Healey about proposed coal train  traffic increase in our region. Topics discussed were: direct impacts on Bonner County, water quality, community traffic flow concerns, affects throughout the Northwest, a focus on increased CO2 levels, and the risks for Global climate change..
