KRFY-Decision2014ArtWorkWEB-SMOn Tuesday, November 4 – also known as Election Day – the KRFY Morning Show wrapped up its special Local Decision 2014 election series. Hosts Suzy Prez and Chris Bessler invited Bonner County Daily Bee editor, David Keyes in for a recap of candidates and issues as voters headed to the polls at 8 a.m.

BONUS INTERVIEW:  Wednesday, November 5th at 9:00 am.  Join KRFY broadcaster, Suzy Prez, and her guest Katie Cox, and find out about the Winter Wellness Panel being presented to the Sandpoint community this week.

Thursday, November 6th,  join Jack Peterson and Jim Healey for the Thursday edition of the KRFY Morning Show. Their guest will be Karin Wedemeyer from the Music Conservatory of Sandpoint, to talk about the upcoming Spokane Symphony Quartet performance hosted by the Music Conservatory. Tune in at 8 am on 88.5 KRFY.

KRFY Little Live Radio Hour with Little Wolf band

KRFY’s Little Live Radio Hour 2026 season kicks off in an all-new venue: The Hive! Coming up Tuesday, February 17, stellar local musicians Justin Landis and Josh Hedlund, aka Little Wolf, will play. Listen live on air at 88.5 FM or streaming right here starting at 7 p.m. – or better yet come catch it in person at The Hive, our town’s state-of-the-art music hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. and everyone’s invited to come early for some socializing. The Little Live Radio Hour is produced in partnership with The Hive and the Festival at Sandpoint.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
