Monday, April 16 – at 8 on 88.5 KRFY brings organizers for the local Earth Day Celebration into the station to talk about the specifics of the upcoming Earth Day Celebration.

The Morning Show offers up an interesting schedule of topics and guests for the week of April 16. Tuesday, April 17:  Join Morning Show hosts Julie Kallemeyn and Phil Hough.  Their guest will be local farmer Spencer Nietmann from Mountain Meadow Gardens. Tune in at 8 a.m. on 88.5 KRFY.

Wednesday, April 18: Join Morning Show hosts Suzy Prez and Chris Bessler as  LOCAL DECISION PRIMARY 2018 continues. Republican primary candidates for District 1, Senate seat have been invited in to speak on the issues.  Tune in at 8 a.m. on 88.5 KRFY.

Thursday, April 19:  Tune in to the Thursday edition of the Morning Show with hosts Jack Peterson and Jim Healey. The Morning Show airs at 8 a.m. at 88.5 KRFY.

Friday, April 20:  Local Decision Primary 2018 continues with an interview with District 1 House Seat A – candidate Representative Heather Scott.  Tune in at 8 a.m. on 88.5 KRFY

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
