KRFY takes to the street, wins prizes

Lest ye thought the 88.5 KRFY crew are just phantasmal technicians and disembodied voices, here’s proof our people are indeed multi-dimensional. At last night’s (very foggy) Sandpoint Winter Carnival parade, the crew wowed not only the crowds but even the judges: KRFY nabbed first place for non-profit organization parade entry. Mid-February’s KRFY Morning Show features local news, views

On Thursday, February 12, join KRFY Morning Show hosts Jack and Diane. Their guest will be Phyllis Horvath, executive director of Kinderhaven, along with Kathy Chambers, president of the board of this vital community service organization. The show airs at 8:00 a.m. on 88.5 KRFY Community Radio.

On Tuesday, February 17, the Lake Pend Oreille School District Superintendent Shawn Woodward will join Chris and Suzy to discuss the upcoming $15.7 million supplemental levy election. The election is coming March 10; see more about it at VoteOurSchools.org, then be sure to tune in for this informative KRFY Morning Show; airtime is 8 a.m.

Legislative town hall Sandpoint Idaho

Sen. Jim Woodward and Rep. Mark Sauter are holding a town hall "Fireplace Forum" to tell about the recently concluded 2025 Idaho legislative session. It's 6-8 p.m. at Sandpoint Community Hall, on Sat, May 3. Join them in person, or listen live on 88.5 KRFY, also streaming right here on KRFY.org.
