Membership Drive Cruising to the KRFY Studios This Week

Just a reminder, that this Thursday through Saturday, June 5-7, your favorite radio station in north Idaho is holding its annual membership drive. Please consider renewing your membership with the station or becoming a new member! The station’s phone number is 208-265-2992 – or, you can beat us to the punch and click to sign up right now on our Donate & Join page»

Without your support we would be unable to continue bringing you the quality radio programming that you have been enjoying. If you have already renewed your membership or become a new member, thank you so much!

First Week in June Morning Show & Membership Drive Launch

KRFY Morning Show Interview Schedule

Tuesday, June 3rd, join the KRFY Morning Show crew as they welcome KRFY founders, Jeff Poole and Kelly McTavish. With the annual membership drive coming up, it is a good time to talk about the how and why of this community radio stations early years. Tune in at 8 am to hear from some of the original KRFY crew.

Thursday, June 5th, join Jim and Jack for the KRFY Morning Show and Membership Drive Kick-Off with guest Dyno Wahl. The Festival at Sandpoint is top of the agenda. We will hear a review of this summer’s festival season offering and other Festival at Sandpoint news. It’s a great way to start the Membership Drive.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 5, 6, 7 — TUNE IN – STOP IN – JOIN IN! It’s the KRFY Annual Membership On-Air Drive (party). Interviews and local music all day and into the evening..

Save the date!

Save the date for KRFY's Little Live Radio Hour in 2026

Our series of Little Live Radio Hour live concerts that we broadcast the third Tuesday of each month kicks off in 2026 on Tuesday, February 17. Be sure to save 7 p.m. to tune in to 88.5 FM for the live broadcast – or even better, come to listen in person. We’ll have details on the musicians and venue coming soon!

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
