Jim Healey had a special guest in the studio for an interview this morning at 9 AM: Gregory Popovich, comedy pet show trainer, of the “World Famous Popovich Comedy Pet Theater.” Jim introduced Gregory and his act to the Panhandle listening public with a lighthearted look at the world of performing with trained pets, recruited mostly from animal shelters. Gregory will be in Sandpoint, Idaho on Sunday, December 8, performing at the Panida Theater at 3:00 PM. Tickets available at the door.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
