Interview with Cody Van Dyk of the Sandpoint City Public Works Department


Thursday, October 4, at 9:00 am Jeff Poole interviewed Kody Van Dyk, Public Works Director for the city of Sandpoint, and discussed the current planning and public input concerning Sandpoint in the post-bypass era and the opportunities for the public to have input about the city streets project including traffic flow, pedestrian-friendly spaces and  for the increased need of a comprehensive bicycle path system..

Between The Notes debuts on Tuesday night at 8:00 pm



Tuesday, October 2, at 9:00 am: Suzy Prez, local presenter on 88.5 KRFY, will talk about her new program “Between the Notes” that debuts on Tuesday night at 8:00 pm. “Between the Notes” will focus on regional and national singer/songwriters as they discuss their craft and inspirations.

Save the date for KRFY's Little Live Radio Hour in 2026

Our series of Little Live Radio Hour live concerts that we broadcast the third Tuesday of each month kicks off in 2026 on Tuesday, February 17. Be sure to save 7 p.m. to tune in to 88.5 FM for the live broadcast – or even better, come to listen in person. We’ll have details on the musicians and venue coming soon!

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
