Viggo Mortensen and KRFY

Good news!  The event at the Panida Theater on Friday, June 8, is all sold out.  Viggo Mortensen will introduce his latest release, “A Dangerous Method,” and will answer questions about the film after it has been shown.  The event is a fund raiser for both KRFY and the Panida Theater.  The tickets sold rapidly and no more are to be had.

An interview with Viggo will occur on Thursday, June 7, at a little after 1:00 pm on 88.5 KRFY. Tune in to community-supported radio for north Idaho!.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
