Annual Public Meeting of 88.5 KRFY

The annual public meeting of 88.5 KRFY will take place on Thursday, May 31, at the Sandpoint Public Library at 6:00 pm in Rooms 103-104.  Also, nominations have  closed for new board members as of May 1, 2012.  New board member(s) will be introduced at the May 31 meeting. See you there!.

Save the date!

Save the date for KRFY's Little Live Radio Hour in 2026

Our series of Little Live Radio Hour live concerts that we broadcast the third Tuesday of each month kicks off in 2026 on Tuesday, February 17. Be sure to save 7 p.m. to tune in to 88.5 FM for the live broadcast – or even better, come to listen in person. We’ll have details on the musicians and venue coming soon!

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
