Tonight’s Interview for “Between the Notes” with Suzy Prez: Stan Hall


Join us tonight, November 6th at 8 pm on 88.5 KRFY for another edition of “Between the Notes”.

This week’s guest is singer/songwriter Stan Hall who lives at
Frog Creek Farms in Deer Park Washington.  Stan is a well known
guitarist in the Inland Northwest Bluegrass scene and former
front man for the popular  Heartbreak Pass bluegrass band.

For KRFY’s Local Decision ’26, each Wednesday we have aired interviews with all candidates for contested Bonner County and District 1 legislative offices in the upcoming May 19 primary. Only Republican races are contested. Click to hear the recorded interviews:

In addition to these contested races, there are three ballot measures, for voters who live within the Northside and Westside fire districts, and the Lakeland School District, as well as 20 contested races for Republican precinct committeemen. A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
