Wiz of a Musical Production Scheduled this Summer at the Panida Theatre

Wednesday, June 26, at 12:00 p.m.: The following members of The Wizard of Oz production team and cast were interviewed by Jim Healey in the studio: Debra McShane, director; Taryn Quayle, choreographer; Sarah Caruso, vocal direction;  and Sara Kirby, Dorothy (not pictured, Steve Neuder, the “Scarecrow”).  The Wizard of Oz will be at the Panida Theater on June 28, June 29, July 5, July 6, July 12, and July 13 (all performances at 8:00 p.m.) with a matinee at 2:00 p.m. on July 6..

Save the date for KRFY's Little Live Radio Hour in 2026

Our series of Little Live Radio Hour live concerts that we broadcast the third Tuesday of each month kicks off in 2026 on Tuesday, February 17. Be sure to save 7 p.m. to tune in to 88.5 FM for the live broadcast – or even better, come to listen in person. We’ll have details on the musicians and venue coming soon!

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
