KRFY’s Morning Show Lineup for the Third Week of February

Tuesday, February 18th, at 8 am: join Suzy Prez and Chris Bessler for another edition of the KRFY Morning Show. Their guest will be Eric Paul from the Sandpoint Urban Renewal Agency (SURA)

Wednesday, February 19th at 8 am: Suzy Prez will be in the studio with Nancy Dooley, Program Director at Idaho Conservation League and Scott Brusaw from the Solar Roadways project. They will be in the studio to talk about the upcoming “Out Of The Box” film and presentation featuring Solar Roadways and other Energy Innovations.

Thursday, February 20th, at 8 am:, join Jim Healey and Jack Peterson for the KRFY Morning Show. Their guest will be Camile McKitrick, the AV Acquisitions and Seed Librarian at the East Bonner County Library. Camile will talk about what a seed library is, its impact on the community, stats for last year, and projections for 2014..

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
