Upcoming Guest on 88.5 KRFY, Week of November 5-9

The following guests will be coming to 88.5 KRFY from November 5 (Monday) through November 9 (Friday). Tell a friend and tune in. Hear about the many good things that individuals and organizations are doing to improve the quality of life for all people in north Idaho.

November 5, Monday, at 9:00 am: Rob Wakeley, Kinderhaven board member, will talk about Kinderhaven’s Festival of Trees  (November 29 – December 1) as well as the 2012 Kinderhaven Angels of the Year.

November 6, Tuesday, at 9:00 am: Scott Rulander and Kevin Davis from the Idaho Panhandle Avalanche Center will talk about the center’s mission and activities. Also, the center is showing Superheroes of Stoke, a new ski movie from MSP Films, on November 9, at 7:00 pm at the Panida Theater.

November 7, Wednesday, at 9:00 am: Bill Collier, secretary of the Sandpoint Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America, will talk about the Marine Corps Birthday Luncheon on Saturday, November 10; the film Life After Service to be shown at the Panida Theater at 3:00 pm on November 10; the events to be held on Sunday, November 11, the actual Veterans’ Day; and the annual assembly at Sandpoint High School on Monday, November 12, honoring veterans.

November 8, Thursday, at 9:00 am: Jace Bylenga, interim chair of Selkirk Outdoor Leadership & Education (SOLE), Inc., will talk about SOLE’s Winter Fieldwork Experience program, a series of place-based, outdoor education opportunities for local area youth in the Inland Northwest

November 9, Friday, at 9:00 am: Members from the Interact Club at Sandpoint High School — Devan Fitzpatrick (president), Brynn Williams (treasurer), Victoria Lafayette, Laurel Rench, and Kristina Attaberry — will talk about the club, its missions and its activities.

November 9, Friday, at 10:00 am: Ruth Klinginsmith of the Music Conservatory of Sandpoint, a non-profit organization providing quality music education for students of all ages in North Idaho, will talk about an upcoming ensemble student concert on Saturday, November 10..
